I have been a Rotten Tomatoes member since 2007, and have enjoyed all of the resources provided to help us cinema junkies sort through the trash. It is truly the official nexus for critique, and is thus brimming with personality. I have always wanted to dedicate time and effort to offering my own thoughtful reviews on films, but for some reason I never bothered. Now it is 2010, and as a side effect to finally getting aroung to writing my first movie script, my fingers are ready to dance on other topics relating to film.

Who knows if I'm skilled enough to make the cut? From what I have learned over the years, I 'd like to think with minor coaching I could fulfill my dream to be a filmmaker. My pedestrian budget restrains me from obtaining the proper equipment, especially for what I intend to create. I have a strong grasp for dialogue, and an eye for visuals, but there is still much for me to learn.

Until I can essemble an effort to make my first independant film, I am going to participate more in the community of people I intend to impress with these theoretical projects. As far as my writing is concerned, naturally, the more I do of it, the better I will get at it. I desire to be in contact with individuals who share many of my viewpoints, and will be open to criticism from those who don't.

This first entry is beginning to sound a bit too formal, but don't worry, I have multiple personalities. Expect the occaisional comically charged rant, the frustrated diatribe, the morose nostalgic eulogy. My biggest challenge would be keeping dedicated to building my online personality. A few fans are always a good motivator.
