Yes I've seen it and thought it was cool in a way only French films can be. It's amusing to see all the different titles for the different countrys. I know it as Lift to the Scaffold. I'm not sure which I prefer. Good review. 0 Replies | Report Abuse

You know its strange I tell myself that about Requiem For A Dream, but not so much about this film. I think mainly because its comprised of more truly beautiful elements whereas requiem was ugly through and through. 1 Replies | Report Abuse

I really hope that she wins. The only thing that would keep her from winning is the fact that Annette Benning played a lesbian in a pro-gay movie and Hollywood can't resist that stuff.
