So here is QT offering cinema independent and unique?

This is a flick out of what supposed to have been a double-feature alongside Rodriguez? Planet Terror. Thank heavens! I got to see QT?s on a separate DVD; and since I hate zombie flicks, sorry Rodriguez; I like your Sin City and impatiently await its sequel.

Death Proof is all about cars, chases, babes (women-power), characters, jukebox music, lap dance, clever conversations (distinct QT), tragedy, and triumph? Oh! Well it?s not about plot as much, but then again Pulp Fiction ain?t about plot either and shall go on to be one of the finest films ever made. I hear the same critics who lauded PF thrashing DP. My suspicion is they gotta be chauvinistic; PF is all-men and DP is all-women. And matter of fact my favorite story in PF is Vincent and Mia and then the rest?

QT is in the first place a fine writer, then a fine filmmaker, and DP has it written all over it; and his fetish with women?s foot does not die for goodness? sake.

DP has two stories, reminds you of 70s thriller movies, first with abrupt cuts and a overlap, and ends up a tragedy when the girls meet their nemesis they had no hint coming?psycho Stuntman Mike, and in the second the nemesis meets his nemeses and then on it?s triumph, Bravo!

Them girls are as gross as they can be, no high-and-mighty, and daring. First band of them let men buy drinks for them, lap dance to entertain an acquaintance when provoked, get stoned, only to be preyed upon by their very acquaintance. Second band being agile and in senses beat him to dust.

This so-called empowerment is as it should be, being gross and in the meantime daring; some things are shaped up outside in, if self-respect and imperviousness is for the wisest of them and flourish with trials, giving the chauvinist a piece of them minds and showing him how unexpectedly while he still begging can bite the dust.

QT can give a B-grade flick the finesse incredible being gifted as he is? And you either hate this one or love it just as QT himself is so much hated as loved. As Lennon sings ?They hate you if you?re clever,? rock on ingenious QT.

I rate this flick an 8/10, giving PF a 10; do I fear them chauvinists, hell no, only because PF is nonlinearly sophisticated if not slicker?
