So my roomate and a friend of my friends are checking out the free movies on On Demand. We find seven Godziila movies with some of the best description ever. One of which was Godzilla: Final Wars! Which read "Giant monsters are in every major city from New York to Sydney. And some evil aliens come. Better call Godzilla." After reading this we read this we knew we must watch it.

The movie started so strong, we are thrown into an intense battle between Godzilla and a flying mole subraine...

I know many reviews of this movie are already out there and there isn't much I can already say about how bad it was that hasn't been said, but I must.
The first half of the movie just made me thinks of a Patton Oswald joke about him not caring where the things he loves comes from. I know Rob Zombie loves horror movies and that he is really a nice guy, but he has now gone into territory where he should not have treaded. I am fine with him making his own bad movies, Devils Rejects and House of a Thousand Corpses, I don't care if he fucks up his own shit, but when he goes after movies I love like the original Halloween movie it just hurts me. Rob please don't screw up anymore horror movie I like or love, there are so few dude please let this be a one time thing.
The movie was just completely and utterly bad and I disliked it very much. First off the dialogue is so poorly done that it makes you laugh. I have noticed this in his movies, he tries to be crude but does such a piss poor job of it. And it's not just the dialogue, it is the direction of the dialogue which is very poor. So pretty much Rob Zombie can't write or direct dialogue.
New Halloween is crap, but I will admit that the second half is so fucking better than the first half, because it is so much like the original movie, but just a bad version of it. A couple of moments were pretty good, such as the second teenage sex murder scene I liked probably because it was just like the movie, but o' well, I got pretty much what I was expecting.
