The only point the film makes is that the poor should be blown to bits? Can I flag that as inappropriate? The film had no reason to be made? How about the never-before-told, fascinating and extremely resonant story of how modern New York City came to be in the 19th century? Other reviewers had completely respectful, respectable, criticisms of Scorcese's film. This was just mindless, unjustified trash, without an iota of intelligence. This guy should not be reviewing films.
