I'll try not to go on for days about this film, but it's hard since this movie's tied for the position of "my favorite all-time movie" along with Forrest Gump. Also reviewed here.
Amadeus' themes of jealousy, contempt, redemption( or the failure to), and the drive to be great.
Possessed by a love for music and his faith in God to make him a great composer, Solieri pursues a sabotage mission in order to "spite God!"

Brilliantly executed by cast:F. Murray Abrahams(Solieri), Tom Hulce(Mozart) and hillarious Jeff Jones as the Emperor- Crew: directed by Milos Forman( People Vs. Larry Flynt, Man on The Moon)and based on the stageplay of the same name, Twyla Tharpe did the choreography for the awesome stage recreations.
Finally, the film created an amazing link between the music and story-telling elements. The first movie to ever truly encapsolate a musical artists entire lifetime and work so completely and dramatically, in my opinion.
