This animated film totally owns the genre this year. I can't even think of a better one within this year! Let's get started, shall we?

Let's start with the plot. In case you don't know, WALL-E's a trash cleaning robot (and the only "living" thing besides his pet cockroach) left in Earth 700 years since he was programmed. After meeting EVE, a lot better robot than WALL-E who comes to Earth for her "directive", WALL-E realizes his purpose. Very full of surprises, and heartwarming at the same time. Think you can handle it?

Next, the characters in WALL-E are colorfully diverse in a good way. When I said "colorful", I also mean with their substance. Even though most of them don't speak too much, body language makes up for that loss. And they did it in a very cute way! My fave character's gotta be WALL-E, start's from a normal robot, turns to a sentient one, and is SOOOO creative and cute when he (or should I say "it") speak his (its) mind. For EVE, I kinda got in love with her character, but not as much as I got from WALL-E.

Next, the visuals. Pixar, and Stanton, surely proved that they still have the magic when it comes to CGI effects 'coz they are just breathtaking in this film, especially with those outer space scenes (the sun, the touching of the rings, the "dance"). Another visual masterpiece from Pixar!

Next, the moral. What I've learned from WALL-E? Two things. First, I've learned that surviving's not the purpose of a person, but living. Second, one must break the rules sometimes to make the best out of something.

This movie's definitely one of the best movies this year and truly deserves to be remembered. As for me, I think it's the best Disney/Pixar movie ever! WALL-E: TEN THUMBS UP!!!!

...and I still wonder how I can get them...
