 It freaking snowed again on a Monday, so I took the train in. I got the time of departure and arrival messed up, so I rushed to the train station way earlier than need be. But at least I wasn't late to work. I feel like I fit right in at this place. Sure there are some things I need to learn, but for the most part, from one HMO to the other, for Medicaid anyway, they are all pretty much the same. The state contract doesn't change, and that makes it relatively easy. Today I actually got things done, listened to my radio, and worked independently from my office. Yay!! It felt good. But, I am pooped beyond pooped, so I bid you all adieu and a night free of snow and cold. Until tomorrow my friends... :)[/center] |

I hope the new job stays ok! And that the commute isn't as bad once the weather gets a bit better...

It is very different work culture. In many ways it is wonderful, but I worry for them because I don't see any measurement of outcomes. I am guessing it is measured, but I am being broken in easy. I hope that's the case anyway. Lot's of opportunities I see not taken. I think my body clock just needs to become adjusted. It will be much better when the weather is better. I take the turnpike in, that's a breeze. Going home I take 1, just to keep me from being lulled into a turnpike coma.
