Compared to the original movie, this was not really creative in its adaptation. It lacked chemistry with the main characters and development of the story.

I admire the effort to treat a very intense topic like cancer with some lightness and reality and not a complete melodrama. It would have been easy for this movie to go to the common denominator of the majority of the "terminally ill" kind of films, where you get so much emotional music and sadness that you end up crying like a baby even if the quality of the movie sucks. So, in general, I appreciate it the tone of the movie.

Never as good as the books, but way better than the Sweden version.

Matt Damon delivers decent acting. He is very believable as a regular father. A good family movie for the holidays.

I have always been a fan of Gary Oldman and I have not seen him in a mail role is such a long time, that this was really a delight. The movie is hard to follow though, and you have to be very concentrated to kind of know what is going on.

On my light side I keep being a fan of Robert Downey Jr. I love his performances and the way he brings his characters alive. Everyone of his roles is so dynamic and energetic that is really hard to be bored. I also am a big fan of the original books and, even though I never imagined Sherlock going through this fast paced plots, I have to admit I have enjoyed this movie and its predecessor a lot.

Not a particularly interesting movie. I think Neeson is a good actor and the movie attempts to be more than a movie about beasts vs. men, but I did not get as involved as with other survival movies, like "Alive".

I had a horrible feeling all during this movie: I totally disliked the little kid. I felt so bad and guilty about it that it made the whole experience of watching this movie even worse. I could not relate at all with the main character and his quest. I thought he was annoying to the extreme. :(
