Ridiculous. Half-way through the movie and you know exactly what's going to happen in the other half - and you just don't care anymore. The Expendables has some great action sequences (which is why this movie gets a 4/10 rating from me), but there comes a certain point when you feel the need for something resembling a plot. From what I've read and heard about the Sex and the City (SATC) movies, The Expendables just might be the man's version of SATC: Brain-dead, but macho.

The "plot": a bunch of mercenaries go to a Spanish-speaking country and blow everything and everyone up. The end.
