A very self-explannatory read and because I was already aware about it's scene by scene copy, kind of ditracted me from seeing this on the big screen and wait for it to come out on rental or on the commerical movie channels. Putting all of Waynes political views aside, one thing I do know the original consist of that this remake doesn't have is Waynes sarcastic humor which seems like is not part of the script and is very spontaneous which usually makes Waynes Westerns more fun to watch! 1 Replies | Report Abuse

Yes, I agree that the plot is very admissable but the action sequences is quite impressive as well as the sarcasm which Eastwood does so well. The real problem is that it's too pretentious to enjoy it and to me it should not be more than 60% which is what I'd probably give this film! 1 Replies | Report Abuse

Excellent review and self explannable especially the second paragraph and if marines all they showed, what you're saying is that they don't show any other throughout, impossible! Thanks for the comment and for reading! I agree that it was definately influenced by Dictrict 9's success. Although, the films are very different because they come from two very different perspectives. I always kinda liked the second one, albeit with a little bit of disappointment after loving the first one so much. Having said that, with the exception of the original, I think Predators 2 is the best of a bad lot (I also find it superior to Predators). A bit of a guilty pleasure. I respectfully don't agree that the plot of this film is as ridiculous as you want to believe it to be because the other day on "60 Minutes" one of the major concerns is the hacking of our resource system so this plot is really is possible! This segment confirms about how fragile America's system since hackers are always finding new methods to hack into computers that are being used to replace what gov'ts used to use actual workers- some jobs are replaced with computers to save costs! 1 Replies | Report Abuse

I couldn't stand this movie for one reason: Tracy Morgan. That dude was so annoying with his child-like antics that it gave me a headache. Shame, since I generally love Kevin Smith movies. Cool review! 1 Replies | Report Abuse

I didn't quite hate it as much as you but it is not a good film for sure. I like you am a fan of Shyamalan's and pray that he gets his mojo back. This is undoubtedly his worst film. I still liked a few touches here and there by him and unlike you I was never bored. Yes it is damn stupid and the acting is pure garbage. Except by John Leguizamo who I thought turned in a very solid performance, to bad he was underused.
