The reason we haven't landed on the moon since apollo 17 is because it is impossible to land on the moon. mad radiation.
look up anything on the fake moon landing and you'll find out.

This movie looks like complete garbage. Saw some clips and the editing and pacing is just awful...

2012 is about the earth deciding to say "fuck it" and caving in on itself. It follows many characters that we don't really care about, and do not really care about at the end of the movie either.
I'm not gunna lie, but I somewhat enjoyed this movie. Sure it was cliche, but at least they knew it was cliche. They didn't try to be very over dramatic, except for the very end.
Every single thing in this movie has been done before, from the characters, plots, subplots, to the special effects. It was still pretty entertaining though. All the shots were directed properly, and the special effects were overall pretty decent.
It seemed like they rushed the plot to this movie, which is kinda disappointing. If they spent a bit more time on the script, this movie could have been the epic masterpiece is was marketed as.
The acting was good, script was poor, but it still kept my eyes on the screen. I might have been too nice to this movie, considering I saw it right after wolfman, which made my brain implode. Anyways, I would probably rent this movie and put it on in the background of a party or something... nothing too thought provoking.

This movie cost 150 million dollars to make. ONE HUNDRED...AND FIFTY.. MILLION DOLLARS! That means this movie went through many investors who thought the script was good. The script was complete garbage. I don't know if the director changed the script to suit his needs or what. Every subplot/character in the movie was completely useless. I felt ZERO emotion towards any character at all. I watched 2012 after seeing this movie, and 2012 is GOD compared to this painful lack of entertainment.
The gory scenes were there just for the sake of being gory..there was no feeling attached to it at all. They could have gotten away with a PG rating if they just cut the gore out. It's not like there was sex in the movie...because we all know that romance subplot went somewhere. As for the female lead in this movie, I have never seen a character so useless towards the plot of a movie. She had no purpose but to set up a stupid romance similar to something you would see in twilight. ITS AN R RATING PEOPLE! You can set up some sort of mature connection between the male and female lead!
I absolutely hated this movie. It was a joke among my film friends. DO NOT waste your money people. Let this movie tank. 150 million dollars...the film students at our school could make a better movie for 20 000. Hollywood needs to realize that script is more important than...well I don't even know what to call this movie.

This movie was directed well. The feelings were there when they needed to be. The visuals were great, and the score was really well crafted. (A big) BUT, I couldn't help but notice I wasn't engaged in the story...at all.
I don't know if it is because I didn't watch the shows before seeing this movie, or that I have never seen LOST. The last JJ Abram's thing I have seen was MI3...and I thought little of it. Anyway, The script was very poor in this movie. Too simple at some points, and also too complicated at other points.
There was no logical reason for a lot of things happening throughout the movie. For example, how Kirk was made captain of the ship so fast. There wasn't enough plot there to license it. ALSO, the VILLAIN. His reasons for trying to wipe out an entire species is just a huge piss off. Spock couldn't help his planet from exploding in time...so Spock must die? What the hell is that?
Anyway, it was still well directed, and everything that makes a fun movie was there. but thats about it.

This is about a world run by vampires, but they are running out of blood. They need to find a cure. I saw this movie at the Toronto Film Festival (TIFF).
This movie was campy fun. A lot of blood and gore. The trailer made it seem very "epic", but it is not that kind of movie. It's a lot of fun to watch, and I had minimal complaints.
There are some plot holes in the story, mostly involving scenes with Willem Dafoe. There is also a very, very weak side story to the Villain's daughter. You will know it when you see it.
It was awesome seeing Sam Neill as the villain. Never thought of him as a bad guy, but he pulled it off very well. This is the kind of movie you will watch with a bunch of nerdy friends. Cheesy at some moments, but a very solid movie overall.

This is the greatest zombie movie of all time. It is very stylish. For a director's debut, this film is amazing. Zack Snyder took the typical zombie genre, and changed it. He took everything that was great about 28 days later, and mashed it into the massive epic zombie movies we all love to see.
Old school zombie fans don't like this movie because the zombies are fast. Well, fast zombies brings a whole new meaning to "power in numbers"....and it's great.

All I have to say is...watch the cool trailer. That's about it.
Plot is lacking, casting is lacking, rating is lacking. I did not even know how to feel in this movie. I was so frustrated and confused. I don't even know how this director gets funding for this BS movie. They made a nice trailer though...ill give them that.
STICK TO THE VIDEO GAME SCRIPT! I want to slap the writers and directors of this movie in the face. They raped Max Payne.
I definitely have BEEF with this movie. Should have went for the R rating, and should have had a better plot for marky mark.
peace.

It was alright. The typical twist movie that has bad acting so you can't really tell who the bad guy is until the climax of the film. Some of the shots werent really needed in the film but it was overall OK. Al Pacinio was also kinda goofy in this movie. not his best performance.
