I have decided to go to the Cannes Film Festival this year.
I am very excited about this prospect but am disappointed to find out that final applications for press accreditation were for the 31st March. Strictly speaking I am not part of the Press but a press pass would have made life so much easier in Cannes. The schedule for this years festival has not been released yet but that is not an important issue. It is to experience Cannes first hand. The history behind, and sheer exuberance of, the Worlds most famous film festival is enough to make any movie lover tremble with anticipation and excitement.
