Resident Evil is something of a guilty pleasure for me. I usually hate movies that have no plot, but this franchise has the goods. Loads of awesome action sequences with babes, but this 5th film also brough back notorious bad chick Michelle Rodriguez. I saw #4 before I saw the first three, but when I eventually watched them all in a marathon I loved it. So when this flick rolled around I was quite excited. Whilst the opening sequence is pretty much for people who haven't seen the franchise (it's Alice doing a re-cap) it's also good to get a refresh. A paper thin plot is to be expected, but this film kept me enthralled the entire time. I hope there's many more to come. Laugh out loud moments were great too.
