The second time was better. Less frustrating.
I would liked to hear somebody says, before sitting down for the show: "Don't expect a old-fashioned Indiana Jones movie like they promised."
But, when you look at the overall, all the pieces of what Indi film are built of are there - unfortunatly not in a tactful way.
Something just went wrong in the script... When you try to beat a mythological franchise with a new sequel, the easiest way is to boost the action, jokes, caracthers. There's other ways, but Lucas *childhood giver - retaker* and Speilberg didn't want to go through it.
So microwave-warmed cliffhangers, inaccomplished CGI effects and cartoonized caracters arrive. They even use tricks that movies like The Mummy are known for... Ironic when you think those films are children of Raiders.
Words to resume the show: too much.
But, you have enough cool scenes to enjoy a minimum. A good familial comedy-adventure movie, in the mood of Last Crusade - with less passion and more hurry.
A ok-cute movie, if you're a fan or not.
