Trick 'r Treat is a rare gem of a movie that doesn't deserve the straight to DVD stigma placed on it. The movie thrives off it's demented and sick nature while... More

A nice change of scenery for Matthew Perry. A hugely funded film by Perry, he takes a wonderful script and shines in his role as Hudson Milbank, a screenwriter that suffers from depersonalization. A love story at heart, the film centers around Milbank and his constant effort to deal with his affliction. Milbank tries everything from medication, to therapy, to weed, the substance which ultimately started the whole ordeal. Perry's performance is magnificient. Combining his usual comedic timing with a subtle apathy, he finds a part that combs an actors need stretch himself. A very independent film that was funded in main part by Perry. Well directed and great screenplay. Nice little movie.
