Love love love love LOVED this!! :) I never knew just how incredible Jimmy could act until this showed me. Though I think Capra got quite saccharine and optimistic by time of the film's conclusion, excellent review my friend.

Over the top. Purely great expectations that a guy could do such things. It was good to see our "hero". But really, fantasy in today's cut throat world.

It's unrealistic even by standards of its day, but it's message is the same today as it was then. There are people in our Congress that I'd like to beat into submission from their attitudes toward the people they represent, so seeing the good guy win once in a while is nice.
