ART BARR, here....with another oft timed review form my movie efed tomatoe throwing fight fans....

OUTLANDER = 100% rating...

OUTLANDER : now, you may be tripping, like how can he have rated this movie that high.

There is a reason why i gave this movie such an exaggerated high rating. simply for the fact that, this movie is unjustily ignored. especially, in the expert crossmixing of genre's this movie takes place. typically, when a movie is a creature feature. they generally always get the movie completely wrong, from a number of perspectives. take a movie like alien three for instance...when, you are thrust into alien three. you expect, ripley and a grown knute to be whisked back to earth. then, sent in an assault force to finally have an end all be all military assault, upon the aliens. in a drag down, drawn out,...dale laque barbecue flame throwing, intergalatic paramilitary big guns, and bullet blazing cosmic adventure of epic proportions. yet, what we get is ripley with no hair on an disinteresting, jail prison coloney, with an alien that somehow or another makes it on ripley's ship. then, to have the character of ripley downplayed, for a intergalatic convict. which ultimately ruins the entire franchise, and any hope of ever seeing a legendary franchise creature feature done exactly accurrate.

whoever made aliens three, needed to be castrated..then, the trophy of that castration needed to be thrown upon the writing tablet of any other guy who has made a creature feature after that. to serve notice..that if you give us a low quality creature feature of any kind...you too, shall meet the same fate. well, i'm here to tell you that the creators of:

OUTLANDER

they must have lived in fear of castration,...simply because they have rewrote and executed,..a perfectly done creature feature with multiple genre's no less.....not to mention, overly cliche'd mechanisms, to boot...and still delivered one of the better little known creature features in the past twenty years. on par, or actually better than the first riddick movie. i mention the first riddick movie because that film is a triumph of high quality bmovie grade epic proportions. that should stand as the measuring stick for low budget B movie creature feature genre mashup's.

well outlander, looked and surveyed possible castration, and also met and exceeded the bar, set by a flick like the first riddick.

this is truely an excellent film, and should be heralded as such. it may have redundant you seen them all before grungy faced beowulf sword and the sorceror viking style axe wielding characters. it may have creatures straight outta the dr strange cartoon. yet, and still regardless of those setbacks. plus, the constrictions of overbudgeted efx...this movie still delivers with flying colors and excellent performances, on all accounts.

if you are looking for a movie that exceeds expectations. would like to see a great creature feature cross genre mashup, with excellent pacing, and execution. then outlander is the movie for you. highly recommended, and i won't give away any details to this movie because it would ruin it, completely.

highly recommended,....and one of the better creature features of all time as well. especially when you take into account how many times a movie like this has been royally messed up.

OUTLANDER = *****
