With inspiration from one of my new friends, Movie Monster, I decided to reveal my own rating system! Check them out below from 50-100%:
50% - These films are honourable mentions of my Best Movie Lists, the bottom few of my "Top 30 Best Movies of the 1990s!" list, and the bottom of my "Top 10 Best Movies of 2008!" list! They're decent, has their moments, and not much entertaining as most films!!!!
Examples: Toy Story 1 & 2, Bridge to Terabithia, The Game Plan, Enchanted, Meet the Robinsons, College Road Trip, Old Dogs, Up, and Tooth Fairy.
60% - Could use improvement, but still OK and worth-watching!
Examples: Ice Age quadrilogy, all other Blue Sky films (Robots, Horton Hears a Who!, and Rio), Shrek the Third, Tron: Legacy, and Battle: Los Angeles.
70% - Could use some improvement, but gets better!
Examples: Shrek 2, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, The Green Hornet, Epic, Rio 2, and Underdog.
80% - A great movie with 2 or 3 flaws, but still something to watch!
Examples: Harry Potter 1-3 (as well as Harry Potter 7: Part 1), The Amazing Spider-Man, National Treasure, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, G-Force, Shrek Forever After, Toy Story 3, and Rango.
90% - A near-perfect masterpiece with 1 or 2 flaws, but something to REALLY watch!
Examples: Pirates of the Caribbean 1, original Spider-Man trilogy, Harry Potter 4 & 6, Shrek, National Treasure 2, Avatar, and both Clash and Wrath of the Titans.
100% - A masterpiece! It may be rare, but there's movies out there that's perfect from beginning to end!!!!
Examples: Pirates of the Caribbean 2-4, Harry Potter 5 (as well as Harry Potter 7: Part 2), Edward Scissorhands, and James and the Giant Peach.
And that mon amis is how I rate my movies. Thanks for reading....love you all!
