If you haven't seen it you should see it. This film is intensely disturbing and gripping - it doesn't use monsters, ghosts or brutal violence to scare. Glenn Close gives an Oscar-worthy performance as the deranged Alex Forrest (she was nominated but didn't win) and Michael Douglas is superb too. Despite its strengths at times it is painful to watch.

Good movie. When Glenn Close's character boiled that child's rabbit, I wanted to boil her.

I remember seeing this when it came out and I loved it. It was unlike any other thriller at the time. Tom Hanks comes to mind saying "it scared every single man in america". It still is great.

If the film is so good, how come you only gave it a 70? This sounds like a review that should have given the movie a 90.Sounds interesting though, I defintely check it out.

I think that it is a good film but I didn't enjoy it that much so I gave it 7/10. It was more disturbing than enjoyable so I mark with a combination of how good the movie is and how enjoyable I found it. :)
