Nice review. I totally agree about John Cusack and his family issues were definitely a waste and time filler in this movie. I also agree that the visuals weren't that great. I completely agree. There was such a huge buildup for this film, but it ended up being the clash of the film genres. Not only was the plotline weak, if not non-existant, but it was just random as hell. The only thing I truly enjoyed were the saber tooth tigers, terror birds and mammoths...wait, can't I just watch Walking with Prehistoric Beasts for that action? Anyways, completely agree. Bad rating, Bad movie, accurate and good review
