"What business is it of yours where I'm from, friendo?"
Movie Character You Most Identify With
Tom Hansen - 500 Days of Summer (but in a good way), Sam Bell - Moon (I think there is a little Sam Bell in all of us), Jim Stark - Rebel Without A Cause, Samwise Gamgee - The Lord of the Rings, Ennis Del Mar - Brokeback Mountain (because I'm so quiet).
    Favorite Line From A Movie
"And I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid, little life. You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But don't worry... You will someday." - Lester Burnam, American Beauty
    Favorite Scene From A Movie
Every scene from The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. The ending of The Fellowship. Where Frodo decides to go alone and then Sam goes with him. So beautiful. And the scene near the end of The Two Towers where Sam makes that incredible speech. And the scene in The Return of the King in Mordor after The Ring has been destroyed and Frodo says, "It's gone. It's done." That entire scene is absolutely heartbreaking. And at the very end of the scene where they hold each other and it fades out. It is the most beautiful scene in the history of cinema. And that music! That, plus the scene from a little earlier where Frodo can't go any further and then Sam carries him. And the scene where Frodo wakes up after it's all over and he sees Gandalf and they start laughing and then everyone comes in. When Frodo and Sam see each other again, and they just look at one another. After all they went through together! And the coronation scene. And the scene where the Hobbits are back in The Shire at the Green Dragon Inn and they toast. And the Grey Havens scene! I cry every time. When Gandalf says farewell, and then Frodo leaves too. When Frodo and Sam hug! The look on Sam's face. And when as Frodo is leaving he turns and smiles. And that music! And finally, the very last scene, where Sam is walking back home and his little girl runs out the door to greet him and Sam scoops her up and then he sees the rest of his family again and then he says, "Well... I'm back." And then they all go inside and shut the door. And it fades out. And, again, that music! So many beautiful moments. Words fail to describe them. Just go watch them. Some other scenes I love: Every Joker scene from The Dark Knight. That's good stuff. Magic us what it is. Especially the interrogation scene. That's how it's done, folks. And a bunch of scenes from Rebel Without A Cause. And the last scene of E.T. So beautiful. The shower scene from Psycho. The scene from Mystic River on the porch where Jimmy Markum breaks down and cries. The "Singin' in the Rain" scene from Singin' in the Rain. Scenes from the Wizard of Oz. The last scene of Gone With The Wind, you know, "Tomorrow is another day!" Love it. Oh yeah, and some scenes from The Shining! Basically every scene where Nicholson gets a long stretch of dialogue. So many scenes from Brokeback Mountain. The opening. The ending. And almost everything in between. The early scenes on the mountain. The final confrontation between Ennis and Jack. The flashback scene. Every scene between Ennis and Alma, Jr. The telephone conversation between Ennis and Lureen. The scene where Ennis finds the two shirts. I cry. It's so beautiful. The entire finale of Close Encounters! The musical scene from 500 Days of Summer. And day 488. The "Meet me in Montauk" scene from Eternal Sunshine. The scene of Jett Rink pacing his land in Giant. The scene in Moon where "the original Sam" contacts his daughter. Very heartbreaking. The scene in No Country where Ed Tom goes to visit the old El Paso Sheriff near the end of the film. I love the dialogue in that scene. And the last scene is haunting. And I love the coin toss scene. The scene between Michael and Fredo near the end of The Godfather, Part II. Where Michael says, "Fredo, you're nothing to me now." That whole scene is amazing. Cazale is really beautiful in that scene. The ending of Lost in Translation, where Bob and Charlotte part ways. I thought that was beautiful. The scene in The Darjeeling Limited where Francis, Peter, and Jack finally get to do the feather thing. The final scene of Into the Wild. The hallway fight scene in Inception! It gave me major goosebumps. The parade scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. The scene in The Breakfast Club where they all sit on the floor and talk to each other. It's amazing. Well, I guess that about does it. I apologize for the length of my list.
