5. The Hangover Why? It's the most recent 'new' comedy I've seen, and I LOVED it. Just about the funniest movie I've EVER seen in theaters. I'm not that big on comedies, but if it's good, I'll see it. And this was absolutely a good one. On an unrelated note: Tigers love pepper. They hate cinnamon. 4. The Prestige Why? I love Chris Nolan. Nothing against Batman, but the stuff he was doing pre-caped crusader was AMAZING. Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight were great, but The Prestige knocked me out. The whole story was like a classy roller coaster, and you CAN'T top that ending. M. Night who? Christopher Nolan is the KING of twists. *See also Memento* 3. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Why? My father was a Paleontology Professor. I'm assuming that at some point he decided he wanted me to take an interest in his trade, but it just backfired on him. To this day I'm in love with American cinema. 2. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves Why? Sentimental value. It was the first movie I've ever seen. I was four, and my dad had rented it. I was too young to care that Robin Hood wasn't english. All I knew, was that this guy could kick ass, and Alan Rickman scared the doo-doo out of me. 1. Jurasic Park Why? Kind of a cross between my favorite and second favorite. It was the first movie I ever saw in theaters. It was at a dollar theater across the street from the high school I would eventually go to. Daddy wanted me to take an interest in his trade once again, and once again it backfires. Only this time I was screaming at the top of my lungs in the back of a dollar theater during the kitchen scene. It still kind of gets my heart pumping to this day.
