Strong performances by Diaz and Breslin make this movie worth watching. The story was kind of a mess, making it seem longer than it actually was and though I would definitely deem this worthy as a massive tear-jerker, it almost seemed forced, given a few avoidable scenes that were over-dramatized and well, redundant. The added humor throughout was comforting and rather necessary, shedding some light on such an inevitably depressing subject. So, I suppose it comes down to two questions: Would I watch it again? No. Was it worth the 8.50? Certainly.
