Last night I watched the first part of new HBO's show Pacific, about World War II, so I thought it is a good time to remember another great show about same theme field, accurately about Western Front: Band of Brothers.
The Band of Brothers is amazing story about moral, mental and physical experiences of Easy Company.
Characters of soldiers are based on real persons and their memories about battles and life in war.
I truly enjoyed in their performance, it was so real, their feelings and thoughts about what they are surviving.
The story do not tell us much about their life before war, just sometimes in time they remember some fact about home or they mention it in random conversation and because of that the story has more powerful meaning, they are in hell and if they survive, then they can think about future and other life, but not now, when they are surrounded with death and pain.
The music feet perfectly with story, especially main theme, which is so touching.
The scenes of battles are very real and you have feeling that is happening right in front you, blood, wounded people and misery of war.
If you did not seen this yet and you like true stories about World War II, I recommend it to you.
