Literally the most fun I've ever had watching a film. After watching, I would have given anything to relive a week of high school in the 70's. This ... More

The best film of the decade, and probably those preceding it. Flawless directing, phenomenal acting, stunning effects, and fantastic pacing make this film Christopher Nolan's best, and sets the bar for any superhero film or crime drama film to come. The pacing is breakneck, which forces the audience to really pay their full attention if they wish to stay involved with the film. However, the super-quick pacing allows for Nolan to display multiple scenes at once, to keep the complex plot rolling. Also, in an age where many films like to insult the audience's attention with drawn-out expositions and dull plotting, this film encourages the audience to actually use their brain. Heath Ledger's acting is some of the best ever displayed, and his character is the most thought-provoking to hit the big screen in recent memory. This film leaves you re-thinking what it is like to live in a world such as ours, and it warns us of the consequences and chaos that can ensue as the result of the actions of just one social outcast who's determined to take the city on a ride they'll never forget.
