Once you take away the spectacular 3-D, you have, well, you have, um, let's see, oh shit, well you have nothing.
Audiences and film reviews alike have been duped by flashy cinematography and effects that they have forgotten to peel that away and examine what movies are really made of.
Avatar suffers from miserable cliches, bad acting,a story line almost identical to the failed Pocohantis, and whiny environmentalist bitching about something that has no parallel in todays world. And no, it does not parallel Iraq. Anyone who thinks that is incredibly ignorant or very drunk.
Over all this was one sad, pathetic, excuse of a movie.
