After using this site for a few days to decide which movies to watch and which not to, I've been rather disappointed with the poor reviews and/or ratings generated. After not being able to learn the difference between "critic" reviews and "RT community" reviews, I watched one that rated horribly on the former but fairly well on the latter. As we all know, people are all very different and data is even harder to summarize from them, but I have a feeling that any professional "critic" in the industry has a skewed perspective when they watch movies. I don't know whether it is due to the sheer quantity they watch or what, but what I do know is that the masses of movie watchers are average folks, whether educated or not. I am a movie buff, but by no means an expert or professional in the field. After watching this movie, I was very disappointed in the poor rating given by these so-called "critics" as the movie was much better than they portrayed. Granted, it wasn't great but it was certainly good and defenitely not "rotten." I will continue to use this site to choose what to watch and will write reviews whenever I disagree with the general responses I read. Thank you.
