have you seen the prelude to this? the tv show Firely? the movie is the continuation/conclusion to the show after it was cancelled. it's really one of the best sci-fi shows I have ever seen.

As a fan of the TV show 'Firefly' I loved this movie. I can't say I agree with all of your review, but thanks for putting it out there!

I think the thing a lot of people that never watched the TV show don't get is a lot of the back story. I grew to love all of the characters during it's all too brief appearance on our screens (thanks a lot for that Fox!). Almost all of the actors have gone on to more success both in films and on TV. As for the plot, well, I felt yes, it was a little weak, but then I've never seen a TV show adapted successfully to the big screen. I won't go on, there's people out there far better at this than me,
