This is the sequel to Predator. This movie ignores Predator 2- which is just fine. I love how they use the same music and sounds as Predator. Preda... More

A really good movie. I find Bane to be a great villain. Some really good surprises in this movie too.
The only thing I knock this movie for is there isn't enough Batman in it. But when he is in it it's spectacular. A good way to end the Batman legacy. Afterall he's human and ages so someone else has to carry the torch. |

This has to be one of the most over-rated movies on Rotten Tomatoes ever. I'm not sure what we're supposed to like about this movie.
Of course the previews are deceptive, Bill Murray is barely in this movie, and when he is he has very short scenes and nothing funny. Bruce Willis is in it a bit more but his performance is simply adequate. The acting between the 12yr olds wasn't that great. The camera movement and editing and pace were good. The quirky, bizarre bits were fun. But overall this wasn't a very good story. I don't understand why it's rated so hi.

Either Rotten Tomatoes does a horrible job of decided whether a review was fresh or rotten or critics are completely adnormal.
Critics are at 29% while the audience is at 84%. The 84% are correct. The acting isn't great but it's not terrible either. The action is terrific. It may not be as flashy as the fake hollywood stuff. But because you know it's accurate it actually makes for a far better experience. Critics are either aliens or RT needs to re-tool their tomatometer.

Very strange... I've noticed user ratings are usually 10% higher than critics on RT. For this movie it's almost 30% less. Wow! I wonder what that means.

I saw the preview for this before PA3. It looks very creepy.

Not as good as 1 or 2: Mostly because the scary bits have all been done before. Nothing original so a lot of it was expected. PA3 also resorted to the cheap "startling" technique too often.
However, it is a good addition to the whole story. The little girl that plays Kristi does a great acting job. The adult Katie, Katie Featherston, does make a brief appearance in PA3, and that's too bad cause she looks as good as ever. The only question is if PA4 will be another prequel (going back to when the Grandma made the deal with the devil) or finally a true sequel: following the possessed Katie who now has the first son in the family captive.

Quite a slow origin story. Once CA comes "alive" things pick up to a pretty good pace.
However, Captain America is one boring "super hero". He's just a strong guy that some how can throw a round shield like a boomerang. He has no special ability. At least he didn't really show any in this movie. I mean besides the occasional long jump or fast sprint he's not all that special.

I'd love to have a girlfriend with the same personality as that of Elise Sellas. Very charming.

67% on RT? Wow either critics have horrible taste or the scoring system RT uses isn't accurate.
This is one horrible movie. It's an extremely low budget film. I think they filmed it on a MiniDV camera. I thought I was watching a student film. I guess using Darth Maul's grandpa as the villain gives it some redeeming value though.

pull the plug on this franchise. Revive it in about 8 years with an entirely different story, different writers, different director, that totally ignores the past 2 Bay-formers.
