Many say Hook is a horrible take on the peter pan story but I believe it is one of the best with some great creativity and good acting for the most part.First off the peter pan tale is one that will live on and the plot in this really twists it around into a really more adult style movie but keeping it a child's style movie. It also features some great acting on Dustin Hoffman's and Robins Williams part they really bring the emotion and zaniness on both of there characters parts. The problems with this movie is the kids either if its the lost boys or peters children there not good actors and don't really lead you into the movie in a good way which can make a problem because they are a major parts of the film. Another acting problem is the fairy she was a large part of the story but the actress that plays her was not meant for it and truly made the parts with her in it truly dreadful. So all in all it has a creative plot and a couple of good actors but over half of the acting is nothing to be happy about.
