I just saw this trailer for the new predator movie and holy shit am I excited!
Zombie flicks are one of the biggest subgenre in horror. Some are awsome, some suck. So I'm going to add my personal top 5 zombie movies out of the ones I've seen.\
This is just a short list to keep me entertained, it will change overtime.
Truly one of the funniest movies of last year and one of the best zombie movies. It's just a story of a group of people moving west in a deserted world filled with zombies. There isn't a LOT of zombie action but its still satisphying. With one of the best cameo's of all time and some very funny moments, Zombieland gets #5 on my list.

Ya thats right another comedy. I find some of the best horror movies are the ones that make you laugh, and Shaun of the Dead is no exception. Not only is it one of the best zombie movies its one of the funniest movies I've ever scene. The best part about it is that for most of the movie the main characters are completely oblivious to the apocalypse around them. In one scene we see Shaun go to the store as his daily routine and then in another he does it again except the second time there are zombies and blood and crashed cars all around him, but he's so tired and out of it that he doesn't even notice. That is what I call fucking hilarious. Some good zombie action and great chemestry between characters.
#3: 28 Days Later
This ones actually scary. It's not technically zombies but their pretty much the same. Some lab infects monkees with a disease like rabies where they go insane and bloodthirsty. A bunch of political activists let them loose, spreading the virus. It can infect you within seconds in is transmited through saliva and blood. A man wakes up after being in a coma to find the world destroyed and all fucked up. It's cool seeing the movie from the perspectice of a guy trying to figure out whats going on because thats what the audience is doing. Most of the movie is about a group of people trying to get to a military outpost to survive. When they get there the soldiers are rapists and murderers. Its a very scary movie and has a great atmosphere to it. Not a Lot of zombie action but its very satisphying when there is. PS Also has a fantastic sequel that barely missed being on this list.

I just did a review of this one and there isn't too much more I can say. It's hilarious with a ton of exaggerated gore and memorable moments. There is MUCH more zombie action and it's extremely satisphying. Check out my review for more. Two words FUCKING AWESOME!
#1: Dawn of the Dead (original)
This is a fantastic horror classic. It's all about a bunch of people hiding in a mall just having fun and going crazy. This is really the one that catapulted the genre and for 1978 its very gory. Not a lot of zombie action until the end but its all good fun.
I kno I didn't cover a lot, but remember its one of the biggest subgenre's ever and its only a top 5 list so back off. If you have some more suggestions please comment. There are a lot of ones I want to see (expecially more Romero ones) that I havent yet so this list will probably change over time. Thanks for reading.
