Sorry for the haters! But I liked this movie. I don't know what fans were waiting from a kids cartoon adaptation? People talks like if the dialogue in the cartoons is some kind of masterpiece when really is very simple, childish and sometimes dumb. Yeah there are some great episodes but still a kids show. M. Night tried to keep it that way and that's the movie's strenght and weakness I have to say. The cast was ok and I saw a lot of India people on it, instead of Asian and I was expecting that coming from a India director like Sychalaman, they look like the characters in the cartoon in their physical but had problems in getting in to the character some times because its a movie not a cartoon and the dialogue sometimes made then looks not believable specialy Zaka. This guy was to old for this character and he looks stupid trying to mimic the cartoon character. Katara was fine and Noah Ringer can kick some butt. The adults were ok but the cartoonish dialogue made them look not believable in times. The name changing in some characters was not a big deal to me so people it's exagerating about that. The movie had some good parts from the episode of the series like the beginning, Aang flying and catching Apa, The Blue spirit, the monkey, the water nation city, great fights and special effects. So cause is a 1 hour 40 minutes they have to cut a character like Zuki and her warriors, They cut half of the last episode and thats was a little mortal for some. The character development could be better definetly and the plot can be a little hard to understand for newcomers not familiar with the series but still a good popcorn fun movie.

Am going to watch this movie again here in Puerto Rico because it was breathtaking in Imax 3D. The story was simple like Titanic but a great spectacle as well. The acting was good specially from Sam Worthington and Zoe (The main characters) and yes we care about them. The bad guy was awesome (classic villain) but I don't remember the actor. The way visual were put in the Pandora world and the way they interact with the actors was something I never seen before. The action was great specially the last 30 minutes fight. The movie is a must see in 3D because the technology hype and the millions of money were spend well. JC rised the bar in technology for future movies.
