This is by far the best Twilight movie to date. I know that that is not saying much, but it really has improved. David Slade is no stranger to violence, and it is good that he was able to come on for this movie, which is the most violent of the books. The acting is noticeably better this time around, mostly from Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. I am a Twilight fan (the books not the movies) and I don't think the movies do justice to the books. This movie is the best at doing that so far, but it still lacks some things that make the book good. The action is really good here, which was lacking in the previous films. This is the first of the Twilight films that I think people who are not fans will like. It still has romantic elements but they are balanced well with the action. I think that this series is on its way to finding the balance that it needs.
