The cast were a power-house, even the supporting actors. Powered by the intense chemistry of Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, the haunting and ever-lasting effect of the tune "As Time Goes By" that was meant to be played all over again by Sam, and all the memorable lines dropped in this film, made Casablanca a legend, one of the most beautiful romances in the movies' golden age. The ending is all too worthy in this great melodrama of love shattered by the infamous war.
