Death Proof is an interesting concept that's for damn sure. But it goes from boring, meaningless dialogue to excitement and eventually turns into extremely (and boy do I mean extremely) pointless garbage. For a solid 45 minutes we listen to four young women talk. And talk. And talk... about nothing.

Death Proof was a great concept but like all Tarantino films, it eventually suffered a lull in the story and action. Except this time the lull was about 90% of the entire movie. But when it's exciting, it really gets to be entertaining and the action scenes are pretty amazing. But as I said that's about a grand total of 10 or 15 minutes.

I remember Death Proof allegedly being about a psychotic stuntman actor who murders women in his car. What it really turned out to be was a bunch of women clucking for over an hour with some decent action scenes sprinkled through out.
