I just watched "The Eye"-- the orginal Chinese version, not the Jessica Alba knock-off-- I have to say, I was truly impressed! The intensity build and build throughout the movie. There were parts that were so well crafted that it slowly made me cringe into a ball next to my husband (who was equally creeped out as me). This film will make your skin goosebump without being the same old big bloody mess cliche. There were a couple of scenes in the movie that would make much more sense to someone familiar with Chinese customs. For us folks whom has grown up with the Asian classic emotionless pale ghost stories, "The Eye" will not disappoint.
