Technical talent perhaps, but as a story teller, good lord, the man made the most predictable, heartless, faux emotional drivel possible. Literally laughed at the dialogue and the ending was pure hyperbol. I mean really, this is considered a revolutionary film. I could have cared less about the characters and was hoping that the bombast would return so that it would bludgeon the cheezball script. Nice light show. Crowd got up and left without any emotion whatsoever. Not a single cheer or clap. But it is brilliant, ya right! There is 10 times the emotion in a single episode of he original Star Trek, than this Drek. When will the critics actually start writing reviews to believe in. Did they look beyond the effects or not?
