Billu Barber (2009)
This is sort of fun, if you like Shahrukh. It is not brilliant, though Irfan's performance as Billu is wonderful. There just is not enough plot here for the movie to be great.

Water (2006)
Beautifully done story showing the plight of widows in pre-independence India. While some of this may also be current, it is important not to see this as a story of today.
Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003)
Silly movie, but fun. It has some scenes that appear to be copied from Patch Adams, but the movie as a whole is different. I particularly loved the opening scene.
2012 (2009)
I've seen disaster movies I liked less, but this is standard fare. Much of it seemed calculated to be turned into a ride at one of the Movie Studio theme parks.
