What a fun and entertaining film.
Te film is about A medical student returns from Austria after working in regenerative experiments with a well known scientist who died under mysterious circumstances. He enrolls at Miskatonic University where he begs to differ with his professor on issues of the time of death, and eventually enlists his roommate to help him continue experiments on re-animating the dead.
The film biggest strength is it's ability to keep a perfect blend of horror and comedy which are not only entertaining but refreshing as the story is an over the top good campy story. The acting in the film is great as the actors are able to take the over the ope dialogue and make it fun and entertaining.
For a horror/comedy film the special effects are also top notch notch.
The comedy is also great and kept me laughing the whole time especially
scenes in the morgue

Logan's Run = underrated/appreciated science fiction film
Set in 2274 and on the surface, it all seems to be an idyllic society. Living in a city within an enclosed dome, there is little or no work for humans to perform and inhabitants are free to pursue all of the pleasures of life. There is one catch however: your life is limited and when you reach 30, it is terminated in a quasi-religious ceremony known as Carousel. Some, known as runners, do try to escape their fate when the time comes and it's the job of a Sandman to track them down and kill them. Logan is such a man and with several years before his own termination date, thinks nothing of the job he does. Soon after meeting a young woman, Jessica-6, he is ordered to become a runner himself and infiltrate a community outside the dome known as Sanctuary and to destroy it. Pursued by his friend Francis, also a Sandman, Logan and Jessica find their way to the outside. There they discover a beautiful, virtually uninhabited world. Logan realizes that he must return to the dome to tell them what he's found and be set free.
The film's Cinematography & art direction are outstanding and still till this day hold up this day and have influenced many science fiction films till this day.
When strong visuals is combined with solid writing and acting make Logan's Run worth a Watch.

The first good sequel to predator.
The film is centered on a group of people parachuted onto a predator occupied planet where they are trying to kill each by till either the humans or predators.
the new predator design and predator dogs gave the film additional information on predators which is needed by this point in the predator series. The film different plays on the original film and making references throughout most notably a sword fight between the Asian character and the predator.
the soundtrack and costumes were great.
the action in the film was solid but could have had more.
With the exception of Adrien Brody who was great and Laurence Fishburne who was horrible the acting in a film was ok but nothing special.
Overall while this film isn't as memorable or great as the first film doesn't stop this film from being a good continuation of the predator story and kick ass action film to boot.
Worth a Watch!

tension and suspence fill The mouth of Madness ,Carpenters most under appreciated film.
The film follows Sam Neil as he plays a freelance insurance investigator named John Trent is hired by the publisher Jackson Harglow to find where the famous writer Sutter Cane might be. After writing a series of best-sellers in the horror genre. The thing that separates shutter cnae from other horror wirters such as Stephen king is that his books have affected his readers and caused disorientation, memory loss, and paranoia in readers, Sutter has simply vanished near the release of his new novel, "Horror in Hobb's End." There is mass hysteria of his anxious fans waiting for the new release, and John believes that his disappearance is a marketing strategy.
Throughout the 90 minuet run time the films manages to keep me in constant suspense as i was trying to figure out what was going to happen next.
As far as horrors go the acting in the film was top notch mainly due to Sam Neil who shows why he is one of the top under-appreciated actors today.
the films soundtrack is also top notch and really keeps the film feeling like a Carpenter film.
Worth a Watch.

Even with my hopes low this film was a disappointment.
Based on the animated tv show Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Air, Water, Earth, Fire are 4 nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.
Th 3d in the film feels rushed.
the only positive thing i can think of is that the special look impressive, but how many bad films have great special effects anyway.
The writing in the film feels forced and wooden. As a result any connection that the audience had was gone.
the best quote i had read from another review which sums up this entire film is
"Even in 3D, [it's] one-dimensional"

While the film is an improvement over the previous 2 films the films acting and writing really ruin what could be good.
To Plot involves Bella once again finds as she finds herself surrounded by danger as the town of Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. while this is occurring, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob , knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.
I know it is too late now but i really wish someone would have hired some actors that could act as while as hiring an writer that can write dialogue that doesn't sound wooden.
Whether you enjoy the twilight films or not this film wont change your opinions.

Don't want to spoil anything so i will keep it brief.
The former orphan Laura raises her adopted son Simón with her husband Carlos in an old house and former orphanage where she was raised. Simón is HIV positive and tells Laura that he has five invisible friends, and she believes they are fruit of his imagination.
As a horror film i film that the definitely kept me on the edge and with solid acting and writing made the film worth a watch.
