This may be the most uninspired and bland movie I've ever seen.

Suspiria is a kaleidoscope of strange colors and set pieces partnered with an equally strange soundtrack. I can say without a doubt that this isn't your run-of-the-mill horror flick. It is much more visionary, and it deserves a place in the halls of classic horror films. It did not ever horrify me, though, and I never felt incredibly entertained. With a scary movie, I like being either very scared/disturbed, or entertained (i.e. slapstick gore). Those components work together, too; however, Suspiria never completely engulfed me with either of those. That's not to say it wasn't creepy or entertaining, I was just hoping for a little more of each.
