While the movie may be too slow for those looking for a taut, action-thriller, I was very much pleased with the beautiful camera work and Clooney's great performance. As the movie progresses, you can see the pain building behind his eyes. He gives a very mature, controlled performance. I think they should not have marketed this film as an action film. It's more like art-house meets action. I found that the slow pacing helped build tension until the ending, and in the end I was happy with the movie as a whole. Nothing new in the story department, but it's not exactly your generic action-thriller.
