#7 The Renewed version of the end of Return of the Jedi

This I really powerful just how they changed it from the original version of this film. When the original trilogy finally came out on DVD, they changed the ending of Return of the Jedi. In this ending, the celebration of the Empires’ defeat was shown to happen throughout the whole galaxy. They showed people celebrating from planets shown through the saga from Bespin, to Naboo, to Tatooine, to Courasant, and then back at Endor. Then when Luke sees the ghosts of Obi-Wan, Yoda and Anakin, the original Anakin is replaced with Hayden Christansen. And during all of this, they play this song to replace that “yub yub” song that is a much better song as far as a closing. Really all of the above in my opinion were excellent adjustment to make the original trilogy connected with the prequel trilogy and make an even bigger ending for the entire saga. The only way it could’ve been bigger is if somehow, they had even more jedi ghosts appear to make it an even bigger conclusion like Qui-Gon, Mace Windu, and other jedi like that. Would they ever do that? Nope. Would it really matter? Probably not. But even if it does matter, I’m Happy right now with the powerful ending we have right now for this memorable saga.

#6 the end of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End

I know that many of you view this as a really bad movie. But frankly, I have a soft spot for this film. I know it’s bad but I feel like for what it’s worth. It did a nice job building up the suspense before making a huge finale battle amidst of all the confusion it gave us. The most powerful part to me was Will and Elizabeth’s goodbye before he went to do Davvy Jones’ job for the next 10 years. I mean sure, it was dumb that Will hesitated to kiss her but eventually they did and…well just the way it was acted and especially with the music that was played, I thought it was a very well made scene. And the last scene with Jack was pretty good too, but it might a bit ruined with the fourth one out. I don’t know, I haven’t seen this movie again after seeing Stranger Tides yet.

#5 The ending for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Now this was the first game of the series where I really got into playing it. And even though I’ve gotten into other games like the original, Majora’s mask and Ocariana of Time, I still find this the best of the series. To me, the game itself is really powerful. Like Lord of the Rings in a way, this game had a grand felling of drama and adventure with all the places, music, characters and monsters you witness through everything that happens. This felt like a really awesome gaming experience to me where you fell like you’re part of the adventure as link. And just as the game itself was powerful, so was the ending. You finally kill Gannondorf (Who dies standing up which is weird) and find that your companion whom you’ve been with through the whole game, Midna survived her encounter with Gannondorf as is back into her normal (and kinda hot) self.  But then she has to go back into her world and destroy the mirror that takes people there so that she can never come back. Her farewell was pretty big at least for concerning everything you go though with her. (which is saying many things compared to those stupid fairies that are you companions in the other games.)  And then it’s the credits where while they are rolling, they show all the places you’ve been along with all of the characters you seen in the past. And during the very end, Link’s friend Ilia stands on the road waiting for Link to come home, and then the camera switches to him riding home on his horse Epona, and then it switches to a status of the Triforce where it says The End. You may feel differently when it comes tot his game and it’s probably more understood if you have seen it, but I think it’s a very powerful ending.

#4 the endings of Summer Belongs to You and Rollercoaster: The Musical from Phineas and Ferb

Mother Fricker I hate these endings almost as much as I love the show I find it thiat powerful. I mean I do enjoy the song to the end of Summer Belongs to You, but I still find the ending sad.

Summer Belongs To You is a 43 ish minute long episode where Phineas and Ferb along with their friends try to fly all over the world on the longest day of the year in order to have an even longer day. During their adventure, we experience some major moments in the lives of some of the particular characters. In the end, they make it around the world and throw a party in celebration of their success in their backyard. Rollercoaster: The Musical, is a half an hour long episode where the entire events of the very first episode are done all over again only that it’s done as a musical.

Now both episodes have a big musical number to at the end. Summer Belong to You plays the song of the same name at the party in the backyard while Rollercoaster: The Musical has a major finale that includes all of the major and minor characters of the whole series singing “Carpe Diem”. What makes these two ending songs so powerful to me, is how after both adventures, are reflecting Phineas and Ferb’s way of life throughout the show, (love for summer and seize the day) and well ... I just find that powerful in a way. Partly because of that, but mostly on how both ending look back at the past with this show. During the very end of Summer Belongs to You, they show very brief clips of adventures from the show, whereas Rollercoaster: The Musical shows everyone from the entire show performing "Carpe Diem". I find that powerful in terms of looking back at all the exciting stuff we’ve seen these boys do, but I also find it sad. This isn’t so big of a deal with Summer Belong to You, but to me, the end of Rollercoaster: The Musical is depressing because if feels like a song you’d play for like a big finale, like an end of the series type of finale. And that just makes me think that there will be a day where they’ll do the same thing only that it will be goodbye…and it will be sad to see the series end. Now I know this hints that the finale to this show will probably be more powerful than this, but until then these two ending are staying here, viewed as the perfect scenes to sadly remind fans like me that, the day we dread, will happen.

#3 The Series Finale of LOST

WARNING IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE SERIES OR HAVE SEEN IT BUT HAVE NOT GONE AS FAR AS THE ENDING, DO NOT READ THIS SECTION OF THE LIST!!!  I’M DOING YOU A FAVOR!!!!

Ah LOST. For so many of us, it was an excellent show of mystery and suspense for six long years. And while there were several plot holes and questions left out, the ending for many fans was very satisfying for what it’s worth. For those of you who didn’t see the whole series and didn’t listen to my warning, the show ends with the main villain revealed to be the Black Monster in the form of one of the main characters, John Locke. After he is defeated and most of the characters begin to finally leave the Island, Jack appoints Hurley (Wasn’t he the sweetest character ever!?!?!?!)  the new protector of the Island before he sacrificed himself to put that plug backing to keep that light that was the meaning to everything balanced ( yeah that was weak) But after he does, Hurley along with Ben decided to use his powers to create an alternate timeline where everyone either currently alive or died during the show (although it turns out everyone is dead) are finally reunited (Charlie and Claire!!!! Yay! <3 :D)  Now this ending my be sad and powerful only for those who really know LOST and were with it up to the very end like me, but that’s still doesn’t make it not one of my top saddest/powerful endings, especially with how it ends with Jack dying right where he was at the very beginning where the dog Vincent lies next to him and the last thing we see is an Extreme Close-up of Jack’s eye as it closes right before we see the word LOST one last time.

#2 The end of Toy Story 3

Man this movie was so powerful it even made my dad cry. And my dad is a very skeptical man. When things seemed to not become any more powerful that Andy was leaving and going to college, things had to get as far as the scene where the gives his toys to that little girl before he goes to college. It gives me goosebumps thinking about when Andy played with his toys one last time before he leaves looking at them one last time and says “Thanks guys” and drives away where the toys watch him as Woody says “So long partner”.  I mean even watchin Woody say that when that clip was played at the Golden Globes made my eyes a little watery. I am not kidding. The end was truly that powerful. So many of us grew up with Toy Story 1 and 2 and now that so many of us have grown up since then, whether you’re one of the kids or the parents of your family, that it not only makes you think of the characters of this movie, it also makes you think of your own toys from your childhood. I mean when I saw this a second time, I just went right home into my room, unwrapping the black trash bag full of toys and starting holding them for the first time in years…ah those days with those guys…Hobbess…Pikachu…Snoopy…

And the most Sad/Powerful ending I think is or ever will be….

#1 The end of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

Oh my gosh this ending gets me every time. Right from the moment Souron and the Ring are destroyed; both you and the character get a major feeling sadness and joy after everything you’ve seen through this whole trilogy. Frodo remembering the shire, the eagle’s rescue, the Fellowship reunited, Aragorn crowned king of Gondor and finally together forever with Arwen. Then the camera changes to the map which goes from Gondor to the Shire, showing all those places have been with all sort of adventures and battles from Helm’s Deep to Bree. And that sight for you just as much as the hobbits when you finally see The Shire again from that Hobbit that was raking the leaves to the Green Dragon where Sam finally makes his move on Rosie and marries her. Then you see Frodo back at Bag End almost done writing the entire story on Bilbo’s red book. And from there the Hobbits along with Bilbo and Gandalf go to the Grey Havens where Frodo says his goodbye to Merry, Pippin and mostly Sam before he goes to the Undying Lands with Gandalf, Bilbo, Elrond and Galadriel. Then it moves to Sam coming home with his wife and children saying “Well…I’m back” before he closes the door and then the screen goes black with the words The End appearing. And finally, what I think was the most powerful of all was the end credits with the song “Into the West” It’s powerful just out of hearing the first few lyrics: “Lay down your sweat and weary head. Night is falling, you’ve come journey’s end.” And while it’s playing drawn images of places of middle earth and several characters are shown continuing to make you think back from the entire trilogy.  I actually find it so powerful; I want it to be one of the last if not THE last song I hear before I die. Because it’s talking about the end of the road and resting and all around living happily ever after while showing all those characters and places from Middle-Earth. And oh how much that song can be just the thing for me to think about my life and getting ready to die before “I come to the house of my father, and in his mighty company I shall not be ashamed.” (Theoden’s last words revised) And even if I don’t make it one of the last songs I ever hear, I want it to at least be one of the songs played at my funeral. Which is something one of my best friends wants for his funeral too. And that’s why the end of Return of the King is the saddest/most powerful ending I have ever seen.

So that is my list for the top saddest/most powerful endings. I hope you enjoyed this list

My Top 10 enduring battles (or basic fights were the good guys are outnumbered)

    Posted on 02/01/11 11:20 PM | Last edited on 02/01/11 11:20 PM

    Mood:
    Excited

recently, one of my favorite words has come to be endure. because that the basic word to about just going through the fire and the flames of whatever goes thorugh life for better or worse. in a way i think that's part of how you try live in this life. and with that, i've personally enjoyed many battles from either movies, video games or more often, comics where you are pretty much fighting to the last man or when it one or little more people against seemingly countless. So i'm pretty much stating my top enduring battles (or basic fights where the good guy(s) are outnumbered)

    #10 300

well sure, this was not a great movie. but the idea of the battle is enjoyable. they knew they were going to die and they were more than willing to take as many as possible with them. And it seemed like for the most part they did fine. I mean at least with the beginning, they had a good defense and stood their ground taking so many people and rarely losing men at some point until the end. But my main problem was the battles against the Immortals. My brother who had just saw the movie  at the time, through that particular battle started was stupid. basically, it started out with the Spartans making a barrackade made out of their dead enemies from before. Then they attack by pushing the top of the barrackade which fell on just one of those Immortalsm, killing him, and from there they attack to kill more. firstly, they did all that just to kill one guy, secondly, they should've kept their barrackade as it was. they'd defend better and the Immortals are mroe vulnerable that way. And I checked by seeing that again to see if my brother was right. Plus when Daniel Wenham knocked off the mask of one of the Immortals, the Immortal turned out to look just like an orc from The Lord of the Rings. and not to long after that, he and the king were fighting a guy that one could consider to be something of a troll or something like Lurtz from the end of the Fellowship of the Ring. In other words, the One RIng has been destroyed for four years and poor Farimir still has to fight orcs and trolls. But other than that, I still enjoy it in terms of it having the concept of what this list is about, but there's enough about it thatmakes it really low on the list.

#9 the battle against the Hammer-drones in Iron man 2.

After  War-Machine's suit is no longer hacked to attack Iron-Man, they begin to settle the score once and for all against the Hammer drones.  This one is more just plain old b.a. I mean it's Iron Man and his friend in a updated version of one if his suits fighting a bunch of robots that are trying to impersonate them. and to be a little fair, this is automatically one of the more just battles where the good guys are highly outnumbered than an enduring battle. I mean they didn't really do anything to show that the drones were the least bit of a challenge. I mean I didn't see the point when Iron Man fired two or three tank missles each on three of those drones at one point. one should be enough. or better just just hit them with his repulsor rays. The other problem with this battle is that it's short...at least it's shorter than the final boss on the bright side so we know that that wasn't too inceadibly shot while it still was really fricking short. But it's still a cool battle with our old buddies, Iron Man and War Machine

#8 The battle of the Frost-Giants in Thor

In this one, Thor, Loki and their friends went out to fight the Frost-Giants as Thor's stubborn response to a couple of giants secretly entering Asgard. What makes this a fun battle is because it's a battle against just about an entire world of enemies. The only problem about it is that it makes it more of a cool battle just for Thor. Which is  a good thing on one hand. I mean Thor is awesome and the movie made that perfectly clear through and through, but I would've liked to have seen a little bit more from his friends before one of them got injured. But that doesn't stop this scene from being fun with Thor fighting an entire world of enemies.

#7 Almost anything with Optimus Prime

As far as a character goes that really wants to go through the fire and the flames to save all that is good, there's not a lot of heroes that are as completely willing as Optimus Prime. I mean he is a cheesy character when it comes to fighting for what is right and all that, but when it comes to the actual fighting and making the hard choices, Optimus willingly accepts what is front of him and faces the concequences for the sake of Autobot and Human lives/Earth/ the entire universe. And that makes him an ultimate b.a. because of that, especially in the sequals when he single handedly took on Megatron, Starscream and Grindor in the second one and did that whole mile long Decepticon slaughter before finishing with killing Shockwave. But there's a reason why I say almost. There are times when Optimus gets carried away with enduring the dangers all by himself. Sometimes he dies as a result or gets really close to dying. and it's a matter that has been gravely overused. I mean it was heartbreaking when he first dies in the animated movie. I mean like I said in my review for that film: despite some Autobot characters were already getting killed, it was Optimus' death that got people to leave the theater and for the creators to get angry mail from parents whose kids have been locked in their rooms crying their eyes out over his death. But then it started to happen so often that you may as well expect it to happen every 30 issues after he's ressurected in the comics . At this point, he's so good at dying, that it was because he was killed when he was Orion Pax millions of years ago that there was ever an Optimus Prime. But the worse death was the video game kill. some guy made a video game where he put Optimus and Megatron inside the game where they have to fight and the loser gets their bodies in the real world blown up by a bomb the kid planted inside them. Optimus won the battle but he killed a few video game characters in the process. feeling ashamed that he killed life (even though those things have to life or characteristics or anything) he claims that he lost the battle so the kid blows up Optimus' body. But here's the kicker. before the body was destroyed, the kid putted all of Optimus, his whole set of memories adc characteris, his whole life inside  A one gig floppy disc. I'm really not kidding. a one gig floppy disc put the list of a highly advanced mechanical organism  where they used it to ressurect Optimus with a new and much more cool looking body. So Optimus does really get carried away at fighting for the greater good, but when he does regaurdless is enough for me to enjoy how he'll endure anything to stop the Decepticons.

    #6The Battle of Pelennor Fields

This is the second to last final battle in The Lord of the RIngs where 200,000 orcs attack the city of Minas Tirith which involves Rohan eventually taking part until they end up fighting the Harradrium and their Mumukil. Now I know you guys are wondering why the heck this battle is not so high on the list. The reason is because it's not really edurance through and through. I mean don't get me wrong,  90% of this battle does contain the good guys getting their buts handed to them. But there's still the 10% where the good guys did put up a good fight, twice. I mean in the beginning, the seige towers aside, the Gondorians were doing really well with defending the city with their trebuches, strong gate and archers that mowed down hundreds of orcs. And later, the 6,000 Rohirrim did make that big charge where they may've won teh battle if it wasn't for the Harradrium. Regaurdless, this battle was big and dark enough to go fairly high on this list.

    #5The Wild Bunch (Last Stand)

I have a confession: I actually have not seen this movie yet. I only know about this scene because I watched it when my brother and I looks at the rottentomatoes list for best gun fights. But it's still awesome. The wild bunch did a very exciting job at fighting to the last man. Especially with the gatling gun. I enjoyed every minute  of one of the characters mowing down a whole bunch of enemies until they were shot. This is all I really have to say about thsi fight other than admitting that I really hope to see the movie soon.

#4 Omaha Beach (saving private ryan)

In a way, the idea of enduring worked on both sides. the german only had a few guys and the americas knew a lot of them were going to die...thus the river of blood.  but  truly gets you. like how powerful it is along with the rest of the movie, you still have to like the idea of how they were willing to endure through the line of fire throught the scene. It is a very brutal battle.

#3 The Bride vs. the Crazy 88 (kill Bill Vol.1)

of all the movies, to my knowledge that contains a scenes where it's one person against seemingly countless. the bride aginst the crazy 88 is the best example there is. they just keep on coming and she just man-handles them to the point were the whole place is just red with blood. it's just so cool. and it's pretty much the one thing you can see similar to a lot of video games (I mean in some video games, you can do just as much killing like in Assassins Creed where if given the chance, you can kill a couple dozen enemies in one spot. I've done that before...it was awesome.) but  you are showing it in film. You just have to love it.

    #2 Kick-Ass vs. the thugs (Kick-Ass)

in a way frankly, this falls in line more to the graphic novel than the movie, but this stil represents how Kick-Ass as a maor attitude to endure troubles. cause with his messed up nerve endings and metel plates, sure he can take whatever he likes easily. but still, if you read the book, you'll find times were not even all that will save him from a lot of pain, he'll make some mafia guys keep on htting him until the chair he's tied to breaks, where from there, he'll grab some broken legs from the chair and faces the mafia guys going "alright, how's first?" ignoring their laughter. and even while there isn't too much like that in the movie, they show enough on how he endures in exploring the idea of actually becoming a super hero with saving a guy from a group of thugs and when one of the thugs asked if Kick-Ass was really going to fight for somone that he didn't even know, Kick-Ass reminds him that there are witnesses watching the fight and then shouts "yeah, i'd rather die. so BRING IT ON!!!" so really that falls in line for Kick-Ass as one of my favorite super-heroes and makes this fight #2 on this list.

#1 Battle of Helm's Depp (The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers)

if anything truly lead me and my brothers to love The Lord of the Rings, it was everything in The Two Towers. and the best part of it all, The Battle of Helm's Deep. with only a few hundred to hold the defenses, you watch as Aaragorn, Legolas, and Gimbli, generally, face Uruk-kai of all different sizes, strengths and military kinds, witness almost all of soldiers die one by one, and have hope diminish step by step from the Uruk-kai going up the wall via ladders,  to the destruction of the wall, all the elven allies die including Haldir, and ultimately the all but the great hall is captured. then at the end witht he sun rising they decide to ride out and meet then with Theoden as their last stand before Gandalf, the Rohirrim and the trees of Fangorn to destroy the rest of the Uruks. Now again, some think Pelennor Fields is a more enduring battle. But think about it: LIke I said before, the Free People at Minas Titirh at least had trebuches, a strong gate, the Rohirrim charge, and archers that made large piles of orcs corpses. Altogether, they had more of a fighting chance. But in the Battle of Helms Depp, they hardly had anything worth calling a defense because  1)their wall was nothing two bombs and one lone Berzerker that doesn't die easily couldn't handle, 2) The Elves were alrighti n terms of Archery, but as soon as the actual sword fighting started, they were getting slaughtered. I mean Haldir was probably the only Lothlorien elf to actually kill an Uruk-kai on screen and he ultimatey died too 3)their gate was broken in three to four hits, 4) In a way, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimbli were there kinda of to just make sure they were taking a few dozen with them, and 5) quite a few of the sodliers were actually old men and kids. KIDS!!!! And the most they generally did was throw rocks at the Uurk-kai that were at the gate...I mean they killed a few then but STILL!!! I mean my brothers and I weren't too thrilled about Lord of the Rings right away after seeing Fellowship of the Ring, But when this movie came out, our parents saw it first to check and were a little concerned with this battle because it was so dark and suspenful that they used kids as soldiers. one of my bothers and I decided to see it anyway just to try, but my youngest brother went "nope" and hung out at a friends house when we went to see it. I mean sure, we were kids ourselves back then, I"m the oldest and I was only 12 at that time, but still, even if you don't think of it from that point of view, you have to agree that you are practically facing hell itself if you're going so far as using kids for soldiers. I mean even the battle when you're palying a Lord of the Rings video game is usually hard. I mean I remember only too well how with the deeping wall level especially was an arch-nemesis for me and my brothers in the video game to the actual film. and I have plenty of friends and aquintances who will tell you the same thing. It was a bit hard in LOTR: Thind Age as well, but thankfully, it eventually was too easy when it comes to Battle of Middle-Earth after everyone dying one or two times. And only heaven knows what terrors await for online gamers out there once they get to the extended pack for Lord of the Rings Online that contains the fighting against Isengard's fricking forces. I mean say what you will about it, but i say it's one of the best battles i've seen and it is more than enough to be the biggest enduring battle i've ever seen.

and that's my list for the top 5 enduring battles. tell me what you think.

    Thor VS. Captain America (2011)

    Posted on 12/25/10 11:20 PM | Last edited on 12/25/10 11:20 PM

So like the Nostalgia Critic i've decided to do a ltitle big of a match-off over some movies only concenring the opinion of ones that are not out yet. and to start this off i'd thought of starting the debt about which Marvel movie for next year is going to be the best, Thor or Captain America.

the way this will go with that i'll make my point or match-off and then i'll ask your opinion so yeah.

Round I: Loyalty to the comic and story line

Thor: well based on what we can gather from the photos and the trailer, we know that Thor, like any other movie based off a superhero comic focuses on the general story of the hero. generally their purpose as a hero and how they came to be. Thor is shown to have that just fine...except for his secret identety. His other identity, Dr. Donald Blake, is this Doctor (obviously) with a bag leg and not in that great shape even then, who starts out shy in the comics at first when it came to his feelings from his nurse assistant. Whereas the trailer shows us that when he's Donald Blake, he still has his long blond hair and gotee and while he's not Thor, he's still well off as far as muscle & such. Granted, some secret identities in movie tht are different fromt he comics turn out alright like with Tony Stark in the Iron Man movies. but this does not sound like the case here.

Captain America: well we don't have any trailers yet for this movie but we do have it for a fact that this movie falls almost entierly to Captain America's origin and his part in World War II. what's different as far as we know is that it looks like the Cap's secret identity, Steve Rogers is going to start out looking in good shape even BEFORE he's Captain America while in the comics, he's hardly fit to be anywhere in the army before becoming the Cap.

Result: there is more to find our still. with captain america especially while it doesn't have a trailer yet. but for now, what we have currently shows that since there is no main flaw to Captain America, while Thor has a certain change in his secret identity. And while Captain America will not show the whole general story of this hero, what they have planned for that movie as something they expect to make sequels out of, is actually a very good idea in my book.

    WINNER-Captain America

    Round II: Design

Thor :With the design with mainly costume and set and all that with this movie, it shows Asgard and any of the other relms that are shown in the movie, are made to look more like something from The Golden Compass rather than anything more like what could possibly imagine from the pagan world.

Captain America: Most of the design is actual during the World War set but it had a little bit of outside of that time period with mainly the special nazi forces and their outfits.

Conclusion: well the outfits of some of the forces of the nazi's are not of the particular time period,  but they still have a bit of World War II to actually show for it. the designer for Thor on the other hand are not really trying to bring the world of Thor and Asgard to life  and should therefore be ashamed of themselves

    WINNER-Captain America

Round III: Carrying out the role of the hero based on just the actor (and trailer too if there is one avaliable.

Chris Hemsworth I don't know a thing about Chris Hemsworth outside of his breif part as Jim Kirk's father. But i know fromt he traielr that with both being Donald Blake and Thor that he's going to play out as this hot-tempetered, sturbborn bad-a.

Chris Evans: he's going to be played my Chris Evans...

Conclusion: we my have no proof of how Evans may or may not be as the Cap, but we know enough about him that he SHOULDN'T BE ANYWHERE NEAR THE FRICKING ROLE IN THE  FIRST PLACE!!!! he already did his part for Marvel as the Human Torch. and that should be it. no one should EVER be allowed to do another moive for a comic company...except dominic monigan. idk what he should also be but i think he's too much to have just a very breif place in the Marvel movies. i mean it's bad enough that he was killed off in LOST...those a-holes. anyway, while Evans may be a action star was well as a comedian, the action doesn't make him anywhere worthy to be the one to bear the uniform and shield of Captian America. Captain America is one of the best heroes there is that cares for the individual as well as the freedom of his nation. Heck, the Civil War comics from a fe wyears back was a story about a War that the Cap both began and ended it by surrendering just because of his care for the individual. that's what makes him a great hero. i just don't see Evans carrying out that much of Captain America even if they're actually making the movie to show how great he is that way. But with Thor, we know that the role is filled just fine as far as showing how Thor started out as being a really Hot-tempered and stubborn pagen god.

    WINNER-Thor

    Round IV: Director

Kenneth Branagh: known for directing shakesphere movies like Henry V, Much ado about Nothing and Hamlet. Outcome of his movies: most of them are very good, but his last two movies were not all that great.

Joe Johnston: Known for directing The Pagemaster, Jumanji, Hidalgo, Jurassic Park III and The Wolfman. Outcome of his movies: mixed but mainly pretty bad movies.

Conclusion: Johnston is the weakest int erms of bad movies but so far for these two particualr movies, Branagh seems to actually be the weakest. thsi falls in line to loyalty to the comic and it not looking all that good even then, sure. But what really kills me is the design. Yes most of the design from most of his best movies are ones fit for shakephere film, and i might not be halfway done yet with seeing as many of the movies as I can, but I for one would think that Branagh would know better than any of these two directors, to go outside of how the designs should be. so with that, i think Johnston has the better odds.

    WINNER-Captain America

    CURRENT WINNER-Captain America

while both of these movies have the potential of beings altogether flops in the superhero movie making business, is seems like Captain America has be best chance of fulfilling it's role despite not even having a trailer yet.

so post comment of what you thought of this and who do you think is the more likley to be the best out of the two or about these movies in general.
