This movie is so great. What I consider Burton's Beauty And The Beast. Excellent production.

Very perceptive of you Mark. I, for one, wasn't lured in by this movie. It just didn't do much for me. The set designs and costumes were spectacular admittedly. Maybe I should screen this for the nieces and nephew and give it another chance.

You think it's too scary for an 8 and 9 year old Danetto? THAT would be pretty mean spirited for the cool uncle! :)

Hahaaa, maybe Tim Burton it's too much for kids. When I was young (I mean, younger) I couldn't stand A Nightmare Before Christmas

Yes, this was a very good movie...but I don't know why I feel his acting more appealing in Sweeney todd....is it me or others also feel the same.

Maybe because of the character. Sweeney has more passion, more anger, it's more powerful and intense. It's more "human", so to speak. I don't know, but Edward thrills me a lot, althought I like Sweeney too, of course.

Brilliant! I really love this movie!Edward made me feel that way too. =)He's so innocent, so childlike, so sweet, and yes, so sensitive.Last time I saw it, I actually went, "Awwww.", and "Ohhh.", practically the whole time he was on screen. He just has that effect on people. Well, he certainly had that effect on me.'Cause he's just so pitiful! Lol. Like when he accidentally cuts himself, all the little looks he gives, when Kim says, "I love you.", and his reaction t

I agree with you. This was a true "Fairy Tale" in the classic sense. Remember fairy tales are always a little dark and disturbing until Disney dumbs them down and makes them "happy stories", so they can sell more toys.
