In comedy, the plot is always secondary to the jokes: it's a device that allows the gags to have their place. I have to admit, this is my favorite mafia movie and is actually more entertaining than The Godfather. Liotta is not exactly one of my favorite actors, but he really shines here. He does a pretty good job in Hannibal as well. Good review.
