Well, I didn't know what to expect with this movie. It could have been realy bad, or very good.
I did not like where the movie was going at first, but after about thirty minutes through the movie, it started to all flow together, and the movie fgripped my attention.
Some scenes feel like a wtf is this? moment, and some of them were very dramatic. Sure, it does not live up to the drama of Shakespeare's original story, but it does, if you often cry in sad movies, this will have some tear jerkers.
Most of the acting is great, and the film is not too long, and not too short. But the movie will probobaly be hard to understand if you are not familar with the story of Romeo and Juliet.
Story: 76%, yes it is not as good as the original story, but it does still work for me.
Music: 75% the love theme is great, and some parts of the score, but some of it did not intrest me.
Visuals: 73%, the movie was made on a 15 million dollar budget, so the visuals weren't terribly good, but it did have some good filmaking tricks here and there.
Closing Comments: This movie generally targets people from 12-70 who have some idea about Romeo and Juliet. The film is quite different when you comapre to other movies, but I liked it.
