So, I’ve been thinking about this lately. I’ve watched several films in the last couple of weeks, most of them worth of being reviewed. But I’ve found myself in no mood for reviewing. I came to the conclusion that the way I just didn’t like the way I was reviewing anymore. It took me way too long to write them, and I found them uncomfortably long and essay-like. Then I thought about the reviews I like to read and came with a new form similar to them. It’s now going to be easier for me to write reviews, and hopefully easier for you to read and enjoy them. Here’s the basic format for whoever is interested:
STARRING & DIRECTED BY
THOUGHTS I HAD BEFORE WATCHING
STORYLINE/SCRIPT --> 0 to 30 points
ACTING --> 0 to 30 points
BEHIND THE CAMERAS --> 0 to 20 points
ENTERTAINMENT/FUN FACTOR --> 0 to 20 points
WOULD I RECOMMEND IT?
MY FINAL RATING --> 0 t0 100 points (adding up the criteria above)
I just made this blog to make you guys more familiarized with my new format of reviewing. Hope it makes everything easier, and I hope it brings back my love for watching and reviewing films.
Keep in touch and expect soon my review of Burlesque, the first one in this new format!
