I liked this one quite a bit, as most people did. I do not think that the film insults our intelligence whatsoever, and I don't see what the hell you mean by that. I thought that Cameron created a pretty interesting universe, although he was never one for original, absorbing story-telling. I decided to put aside the fact that it's the most popular movie in a long time and just enjoyed myself. 1 Replies | Report Abuse 
What I mean by insulting our intelligence is that 80% of the film is CGI and that was used to cover up the unoriginal plot and flat characters, but I guess it's more amazing visually than it is as a drama. Dude, I agree completely. "Watchmen" is such a great book and "good" is the best they could do when adapting it to film. I don't like when people call it "great" or "bad". It's a solid flick, although it lacks most of the intellect hidden beneath the pages of the Novel. 0 Replies | Report Abuse |
