I've written a small history essay on this era, so I kinda interested in seeing this. Fine review but I'll take account of the flaws you mentioned.

Thanks, Myeria. From some of my research, I learned that there are people who doubt the truth of Yahia's book. So I wonder how much of the film is true.

Myerla! (sorry about that)

Has similar rings to "The Last King of Scotland" but not as interesting as a film- would that be a fair assessment in your opinion?

I wish I could say, but alas, I have not seen The Last King of Scotland.

I have this on hold for me at the library. I will watch it.

You could do worse.

This movie is like a fake orgasm ‚?? full of screams only, no real deal... story is fake, directing was fake, historical truth was fake... acting was the only good thing... sorry, mate, I respectfully disagree with such high score! It is just a piece of a propaganda which someone decided should be released now when there is so much trouble in US. If it was a comedy I would give it a higher rating, but as a serious movie, does not deserve more than 40%! Thumbs up for the review though!

Such a high score? 70 percent is only a "C," or an average grade from me. I admit I really don't know that much about the real Uday, so I couldn't say how accurate this movie is. I just thought it was mildly entertaining.

OK... for me anything above 50% is positive, and this one deserved positive score for the acting only... of course that is just my humble view... :-)
