I'm still paying for this. 1 Replies | Report Abuse and you'll still regret it. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Which I won't admit. 0 Replies | Report Abuse You never really get into *why* this film was bad except for vague comments like "the narrative bounces off everywhere" and accusing Alexander of being a wimp. Like the movie itself, your criticisms aren't really poignant ones. It was not a good film, I agree. But it was not a horrible film, either. The narrative kept some semblance of coherency, though not the greatest sense of it. His military conquest seemed apparent enough. I think the movie tried to incorporate far too much complexi 1 Replies | Report Abuse Well, I walked out about 75% of the way through. My first walk out ever. It was that bad. I've studied my history and I know a fair deal about Alexander, yet Stone just skipped most of his legacy and concentrated about how down he always was and his sexual undertones with the people around him. The acting was horrible especially by Farrell, who kept on looking around wondering if he was in the right movie. I'll admit it had potential, but I couldn't find it among the beating down directio 1 Replies | Report Abuse you walked out of the best scene in the movie man. An acid trip war scene which is actually incredible to see. Rather then making it an actual history (it'd be like 5-6 hours with Hopkins' narration then) he tried to make it more of a character story dealing with his parents. And Val Kilmer is good in just about anything he does. He was originally going to try and be Alexander when Stone approached the idea about 10 years ago. But in the end... You shouldn't really be able to review 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

I expected a better rating for GITS, especially from you. You have failed me! 0 Replies | Report Abuse I loved Shaun of the Dead. good rating :fresh: 0 Replies | Report Abuse "American Movie" just kills me - I've seen it a couple of times. Now you have to see "Fubar" (if you haven't already) for a fictional version of the same sort of people. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Your rating of GitS is too high. Have the balls to give it what it deserves - Don't fall into the hype! 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

Me > You 1 Replies | Report Abuse Uh... no. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Uh...yes. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Batman Begins was sweet, but it certainly can be improved upon. 8/10. All of the acting was perfect, Bruce's character development was perfect and Bale makes the most badass Batman yet. The one-liners sucked for the most part. Katie Holmes, as a young 20-something, wasn't really believable as an assistant D.A. Scarecrow rocked!
And oh my god, Joker!
1 Replies | Report Abuse Have you seen my mask? 0 Replies | Report Abuse forget IC, wait 'til D gets a hold of it... 0 Replies | Report Abuse That's a disgustingly low grade for WarGames, mmkay? 1 Replies | Report Abuse Yes it is Amber, but it's to be expected from HIM. 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

I have yet to find me a copy of Casshern..(where the hell do you find this shit?!) And I openly protest not enough love for Chasing Amy. "Fuck Lando Calrissian!" The opening scene is brilliant. 1 Replies | Report Abuse I got it off Delirium Vault which has been sadly taken down. You're gonna just have to wait until it hits theaters next Spring. It's definitly a film to catch on the big screen though. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Casshern is one of the biggest wastes of time I've experienced this year. Just a gigantic embarrassment. 0 Replies | Report Abuse It took me two viewings but I think I figured out most of what was happening in Casshern. The characters do have pretty solid motivations once you get what's happening. The editing does make it difficult, but I did end up totally loving both the movie and the story upon the second viewing (my review's in my journal if interested). 0 Replies | Report Abuse It took me two viewings but I think I figured out most of what was happening in Casshern. 'Cats' was a fun movie. I thought 'Cinderella Man' was going to really suck after the first 15 minutes. It went on a slow incline after that. 'Rear Window'...yeah, best from the Hitch. Can't wait for 'Howl's'...perhaps tomorrow night. 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

The number of times I see you trying to verbally copulate Wats is disturbing. ;) Anyway, Wats. I agree with Joan of Arc. I hate it when people say, "if you don't like this movie, you don't like movies"...you sound like Gene Shalit and he's a moron. However, I can't get too upset this time, because Joan is such a magnificent work of art. I was blown away. My second favorite silent film of all time, just behind City Lights.
